Quinta da Taberna River Beach

The river beach emerged from a slope and the widening of the Mondego valley, which allowed the construction of a weir of cold and transparent waters, where you can dive and relax. On the banks of the river, dense rows of alders develop, which serve as a refuge for an enormous density and diversity of fauna, typical of forestry environments.

Inaugurated in 2019, it has a leisure area to support the river beach, comprising a picnic area, bathrooms, bar, and an emergency room.
