Solar do Queijo (da Serra da Estrela)

Former Municipal Palace, in Praça de Santa Maria, currently dedicated to the delicious Serra da Estrela Cheese and Serra da Estrela Requeijão.

It is possible to visit a museum space about the production of cheese and respective utensils, highlighting the role of pastoralism and also guarantees access to the Tasting Room. By appointment, here it is possible to purchase and taste the Cheese and Requeijão, as well as sausages from the region.
