Beijames Stream Valley

This river is born in the area of Poios Brancos, runs a total extension of 10 km on the Beijames valley. This valley dazzles us, with its magnificent landscapes of great diversity of fauna and flora, some of these extremely rare. Along all the river, we can still enjoy fresh and clear waters, whose spring is located in one of the highest plateaus of Serra da Estrela. The access to the upper sector of the valley is made from a village of Verdelhos, following the forest route network.
