Filipina Bridge

Located on the Zêzere River, this bridge was part of the old road that made the connection, to the towns, from Valhelhas to Covilhã. This bridge has its origin in a roman structure, but the one we observe today is the result of reconstruction carried out in 1631. It is currently tarred and protected by granite stonework, some of which have already been knocked down.
