Our Lady of Espinheiro Chapel

At an altitude of about 1000 meters we can see the medieval chapel, which was an important place of pilgrimage for the mountain people. This place offers a vast panorama of the surrounding mountains and the Beirão plateau. From here you can see the mountains of Lousã, Açor, Buçaco, Caramulo, Arada-Freita and Montemuro and the urban areas of Nelas, Viseu, Mangualde and Fornos de Algodres. It is undoubtedly a breathtaking landscape.
