The CIVGLAZ aims to disclose the territory of the municipality of Manteigas, the tourism potentialities and endow their visitors with a greater knowledge about the Zêzere Glacier Valley and its natural heritage.
In this Center you can learn about the history and future of Manteigas through images, discover the 16 pedestrian trails, explore in the interactive boards the fauna and flora species predominant in the Zêzere Glacier Valley.
In the Zêzere Glacier Valley Interpretion Center we highlight among many other activities the simulator that recreates a balloon trip along the Zêzere Glacier Valley, where you can virtually observe 13 kilometres of natural heritage, with visits to the past, for the visitor to better understand the glaciation phenomenon.
