Museum of the Automobile Miniature

Is located close to the building of Paços do Concelho. It was inaugurated on November 24 of 2007 and it departed from the collaboration with the collector Fernando Taborda, with the Gouveia Town Hall, the Escape Livre Club and the Automobile Club of Portugal. The goal of this museum is to show and spread about 4 thousand miniatures of the best miniature collection’s existent in the country, such as Historic Evolution of the Automobile (Evolução Histórica do Automóvel), World Rallies (Ralis do Mundo), 3J and Presidential and Papal vehicles, it also has contributions from some private collections as well as other temporary exhibitions, events, and recreational-educational activities for visitors.
