Founded on an old church from the 13th century, the Main Church of Alcaide was rebuilt in the 16th century. Later in 1694, a bell tower was built. It is a mannerist and baroque church with a longitudinal plan. The façades are in apparent granite stonework. The main gable façade consists of a perfect round axial portal. Composed of three naves, it also includes a narrower and taller chancel, a sacristy on the right side and gilded altars, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, the sides have an eclectic style, in a mixture of Neo-Baroque and Neo-Gothic elements.
