Solstice Festival | Alvoco da Serra

The Solstice Festival, in the Mountain Village of Alvoco da Serra, celebrates the arrival of summer and the traditions connected to the cycles of nature in the Serra da Estrela. Inspired by ancient solstice rituals, the event brings together music, gastronomy, walks, cultural activities, and community moments that highlight local identity, the landscape, and the connection between people and the territory. Over the course of a weekend, the village welcomes summer with experiences that invite visitors and residents to celebrate nature and mountain traditions.

17:00 – Fresh Goat’s Cheese Workshop with tasting (Community Oven)

19:00 – Ningue Ningue concert and Montês gin tasting (Pátio Barão)
