In the center of the Mountain Village of Vide, on the Alvoco stream, joining the two banks there is a bridge, possibly dating from the medieval / contemporary period. The work, one of the most notable of its kind in the “Mountain Villages-Aldeias de Montanha”, was built in granite stonework and has a unique round arch of considerable size. The board is slightly arched and has a parallel floor. The guards are made of stone with small rectangular openings for draining water. Downstream of the bridge is a modern weir, for maintaining the water level of the stream, allowing, at the same time, the passage to pedestrians.
