Manor House of Castelo Branco Family

Built in plastered and painted white masonry, this coat of arms manor house is the most remarkable civilian monument in the Mountain Village of Valezim. The building has a single storey, U-shaped plan, and roofs with three and two pitched roofs. The main façade is divided into three distinct sections delimited by pilasters topped by pinnacles. In the central body of the building, a triangular pediment rises, and an arched doorway opens, preceded by two semicircular steps. Besides housing the headquarters of the “Clube Recreativo e Educativo Valezinense”, the manor house also serves as a residence.
