Varanda dos Carquejais Viewpoint

Situated at an altitude of approximately 1130 meters, on the eastern slope of Serra da Estrela, it offers a wide panorama over Cova da Beira and the city of Covilhã. With the construction of a suspended platform over the hillside, this place is currently one of the most popular visiting points in Serra da Estrela.

It's a geossite of the Estrela Geopark (POP16).
