Parochial Church or Our Lady of Grace Church

Built around the 12th century, the Parochial Church is a primitive temple with a simple aspect and romanesque style.

The name of the Patroness was originally Saint Mary of Figueiró, after which the invocation of Our Lady of Grace appeared, leading to the change of name, and remaining until today.

With the growth of new neighborhoods, it is currently located practically in the center of the village. Over the years, it has undergone several changes, leaving very little of the original aspect today. Most of the structure corresponds to its reconstruction in the 19th / 20th centuries. It consists of a sacristy, a nave, a chancel, and a tower, 22 meters high, built in 1938. In addition, two side altars in Baroque style (dedicated to Our Lady of Rosary and Santa Luzia), the cruise arch and the main altar, covered by a magnificent gilt wood.
