Alvoco River

This river rises in Serra da Estrela and it has about 30 km of total extension. Flows into the Alva River, it is considered one of the cleanest rivers of Europe. Throughout its course, we can observe the magnificent watermills still working nowadays, and in its valleys, we can appreciate the riches of the fauna and flora.
