The Medieval Brigde

Is situated on the Alvoco River, in Alvoco das Várzeas. It is classified as a Imobile of Public Interest by the regulation of Dec. 2/96 of 6 march.

It was built in the 14th century, we can verify the existence of many stones that bear construction site acronyms demonstrating their medieval origins. It possesses a trestle structure, supported by two unequal arches and of different dimensions: the bigger one has an ogival shape and the minor one is of whole lap.
